Our logo is a traditional Japanese cord with two open ends called awaji musubi.
By pulling both ends of the cord the knot becomes stronger, even as the distance between its ends increases. Similarly, our goal is to form genuine bonds with our guests that last a lifetime, even through change.
Message from the Owner
My name is Seiji. I come from a family of hairstylists in Japan. My grandfather was the first to open our family-run salon, and I am the third generation to continue his legacy. I've spent the past 26 years honing cutting-edge techniques from Japan’s top hair salons, barber shops, facial aesthetics salons, and nail salons. Now, it is my sincere pleasure to open Kuon Salon and offer my skills to New York City.
